Welcome to LocalBiz OP. This guide will help you set up your business and start using the app correctly.
1. Create Your Business
Open LocalBiz OP and select Create My Business. Enter your business name and basic contact information.
2. Choose How Your Business Operates
Select the option that best describes your business: customers come to you, you go to customers, or both. LocalBiz OPS uses this information to help configure the app for your type of business.
3. Add Your First Customer
Open Customers and select Add Customer. Enter the customer's basic information and save the customer.
4. Add Your Inventory, Jobs, or Services
Depending on your business, you can begin adding inventory, creating jobs or appointments, or setting up recurring customers and routes.
5. Add Your Team
If you have employees, open Team and invite them using their phone number. The employee must accept the invitation before gaining access.
6. Ask the AI Business Assistant
If you're unsure where to go, open the AI Business Assistant and ask what you want to accomplish in normal language.
Example: “How do I add a customer?”
LocalBiz OP is designed so you don't need to learn complicated business software before you can start using it.
Business Setup tells LocalBiz OP how your business operates so the app can organize customers, jobs, inventory, reports, and other features correctly.
Set Up Your Business
Open Settings → Business Setup.
Enter your Business Name.
Add your business address, phone number, and email when applicable.
Add your business logo if desired.
Choose how your business operates.
Add your business hours and locations when needed.
Review the information and select Save.
Choose How Your Business Operates
Select the option that best describes your business:
Store — Customers normally come to your business location.
Service — Your business normally goes to the customer's location to perform work.
Route — Your business regularly visits customers or locations on a route for services or deliveries.
Hybrid — Your business uses more than one of these operating methods.
Choose the option that most closely matches how your business actually operates. You can update your business information later if your operation changes.
Business Locations
If your business operates from more than one location, add each location so LocalBiz OP can keep relevant business information organized.
Locations can help organize information such as:
Inventory • Jobs • Employees • Business Records • Reports
Inventory Locations
A business location and a product's physical inventory location are different.
For example:
Business Location: Downtown Store
Inventory Location: Aisle 3 → Bay 2 → Shelf 4
This helps LocalBiz OP identify both which business location has the product and where inside that location the product can be found.
Business Hours
Enter your normal operating hours when applicable. Keeping your hours current can help LocalBiz OP understand your normal business schedule.
Business Contact Information
Double-check your business phone number, email, and address before using them on customer communications, invoices, reports, or other business records.
Sales Tax Settings
If your business collects sales tax, enter the available tax settings that apply to your business.
LocalBiz OP may use configured rules and your business records to help calculate or estimate sales-tax information.
You are responsible for verifying the tax rules, rates, registrations, exemptions, and reporting requirements that apply to your business. LocalBiz OP does not provide tax advice or file taxes for you.
Your Business Can Change
You can return to Business Setup when you need to update information such as your contact details, locations, hours, or operating method.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“How do I set up my business?”
“How do I add another location?”
“How do I change my business hours?”
“Where do I change my business information?”
The Today Dashboard gives you a quick view of what is happening in your business right now. It is designed to show the things that may need your attention without making you search through the app.
What You Can See
The dashboard may show today's jobs and appointments, money owed to your business, overdue invoices, inventory that needs attention, employee or Shift Change items, expenses, tasks, and important business alerts.
Money Owed
Money Owed includes invoices that still have a remaining balance, even if the payment is not overdue yet.
Example: If a customer has a $3,000 invoice and has paid $1,000, LocalBiz OP shows $2,000 owed.
If the due date has not arrived, the invoice can show Not Due Yet. If the due date has passed and money is still owed, it can show Overdue and become eligible for Get Me Paid follow-up.
Ask My Business
Use the AI Business Assistant from the dashboard to ask questions in normal language, such as:
“Who owes me money?”
“What needs my attention today?”
“What inventory is running low?”
“What happened on the last shift?”
Tap a dashboard item to open the related information and take action.
The Customers area keeps the important information about each customer in one place. Customers can be used for jobs, appointments, invoices, payment tracking, recurring services, routes, notes, and communication history.
Add a Customer
Open Customers.
Select Add Customer.
Enter the customer's name or business name.
Add their phone number, email, address, and any useful notes.
Select Save Customer.
You can enter only the information your business needs. Additional information can be added or changed later.
Customer Profile
Open a customer to see their contact information, jobs or services, invoices, payment information, notes, and other available history.
From the customer profile you can quickly perform actions such as Call, Text, Create Invoice, or View related information.
Create an Invoice
Select Create Invoice from the customer to create an invoice already connected to that customer.
Enter the job description, invoice total, amount paid, due date, and customer email when applicable.
LocalBiz OP automatically calculates:
Amount Owed = Invoice Total − Amount Paid
Example: A $3,000 invoice with $1,000 paid will show $2,000 owed.
Finding Customers Who Owe Money
Customers with an outstanding balance remain visible even when the payment is not overdue yet.
Use Money Owed to see all outstanding balances. Get Me Paid handles automatic follow-up according to the invoice's due date and reminder settings.
Recurring Customers
Businesses that provide recurring services or deliveries can use customer records for information such as service frequency, delivery instructions, upcoming work, and vacation holds.
Ask the AI Assistant
You can also ask questions such as:
“Show me customers who owe money.”
“Who haven't I heard from recently?”
“Show me tomorrow's customers.”
Always double-check customer contact information before sending invoices or communications.
LocalBiz OP helps you keep track of work that needs to be done, who the work is for, and where each job stands.
Create a Job or Appointment
Open Jobs & Appointments.
Select Create Job or Add Appointment.
Select the customer.
Enter the job or service description.
Add the scheduled date and time when applicable.
Add the service address, instructions, or notes if needed.
Save the job.
Job Status
Keep the job status simple:
Scheduled → In Work → Complete
Scheduled means the work has been created but has not started.
In Work means the job is currently being performed.
Complete means the work has been finished.
Job status and payment status are separate. A job can be Complete while the customer still owes money.
Example
You finish a $500 repair job and mark the job Complete. If the customer has paid only $200, the invoice still shows $300 owed until the remaining payment is received.
Recurring Services & Routes
Businesses that visit customers regularly can use jobs for recurring services, deliveries, or route stops. Customer instructions, vacation holds, skipped stops, and other important information can remain connected to the customer.
Start and Finish Your Day
Review your scheduled work before beginning the day. As work is performed, update each job so LocalBiz OPS can give you an accurate view of what is Scheduled, In Work, and Complete.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“What jobs do I have today?”
“Which jobs are still in work?”
“Show me completed jobs that still owe money.”
“What is my next appointment?”
LocalBiz OP makes invoicing simple by keeping track of how much was billed, how much has been paid, and how much is still owed.
Create an Invoice
Open the customer.
Select Create Invoice.
Enter the Job Description.
Enter the Invoice Total.
Enter the Amount Paid if the customer has already made a payment.
Select the Due Date.
Verify the customer's email address.
Choose whether Automatic Payment Follow-Up should be enabled.
Save the invoice.
Amount Owed
LocalBiz OP automatically calculates:
Amount Owed = Invoice Total − Amount Paid
Example:
Invoice Total: $3,000
Amount Paid: $1,000
Amount Owed: $2,000
You do not need to calculate the remaining balance yourself.
When a Customer Makes Another Payment
Open the invoice and update the payment information. LocalBiz OPS recalculates the remaining amount owed and keeps the invoice/payment record connected to the customer's business history.
Payment Status
LocalBiz OP helps identify whether an invoice is Unpaid, Partially Paid, Paid, or Overdue based on the payment information and due date.
An invoice can also be partially paid and overdue. For example, if $500 remains after the due date, the customer still owes $500 even though part of the invoice has already been paid.
Job Status Is Different
Job status tells you whether the work is:
Scheduled → In Work → Complete
Payment information tells you whether the customer still owes money.
A completed job does not automatically mean the invoice has been paid.
Money Owed
Money Owed includes every invoice with a remaining balance greater than $0, whether or not the due date has passed.
If an invoice isn't due yet, LocalBiz OPS can show Not Due Yet.
If its due date has passed and a balance remains, it can show Overdue.
Sending an Invoice
After saving an invoice, available options may include Email Invoice, Print, or Share.
Always verify the customer, amount, email address, due date, and job description before sending an invoice.
Receipts
Payment information associated with the invoice can be used to create a receipt showing the amount paid and any remaining balance.
Invoice and payment information also contributes to your LocalBiz OPS business records and reports.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“Who owes me money?”
“How much does Johnson still owe?”
“Show me overdue invoices.”
“Show me completed jobs that haven't been fully paid.”
Get Me Paid helps your business follow up on unpaid invoices automatically, so you don't have to remember which customers need a reminder.
How It Works
When creating or editing an invoice, turn on Automatic Payment Follow-Up and choose the available communication method, such as Email, Text, or Both.
LocalBiz OP uses the invoice's Due Date and Amount Owed to determine when follow-up is needed.
Before the Due Date
If a customer still owes money but the invoice is not due yet, the balance remains visible in Money Owed.
Example:
Invoice Total: $3,000
Amount Paid: $0
Amount Owed: $3,000
Due Date: September 30
Before September 30, LocalBiz OP can show the invoice as Not Due Yet. It is still money owed to your business, but overdue reminders have not started.
After the Due Date
If the due date passes and money is still owed, the invoice becomes eligible for automatic payment follow-up according to your reminder settings.
Your reminder schedule may include stages such as a friendly first reminder followed by additional reminders if the balance remains unpaid.
When the Customer Pays
Update the payment information on the invoice when payment is received.
LocalBiz OP recalculates:
Amount Owed = Invoice Total − Amount Paid
If the customer makes a partial payment, reminders apply only to the remaining balance as appropriate.
When Amount Owed reaches $0, the invoice is paid and automatic payment reminders for that invoice stop.
Get Me Paid Dashboard
The Get Me Paid area is your control center for payment follow-up. It can show information such as:
Customer • Amount Owed • Due/Overdue Status • Last Reminder • Next Reminder
This lets you see what LocalBiz OP is handling without manually chasing every customer.
Reminder Tone
Where available, you may select an appropriate reminder style such as Friendly, Professional, or Firm.
Get Me Paid is designed for ordinary business accounts-receivable reminders. It is not a legal debt-collection service.
Customer Communication
Always make sure customer contact information is correct and that your business has any permission required to contact the customer.
Customers' applicable requests to stop or opt out of communications should be honored.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“Who is overdue?”
“Who owes money but isn't overdue yet?”
“Who received a payment reminder?”
“How much money is currently outstanding?”
LocalBiz OP makes adding and managing inventory simple. Whenever possible, scan the product instead of typing everything manually.
Add a Product With a Barcode
Open Inventory.
Select Scan Barcode.
Point your phone's camera at the product's UPC or EAN barcode.
LocalBiz OPS searches available product information and automatically fills in details it can reliably identify.
Double-check the information.
Enter the Quantity you currently have.
Add LOW, TARGET, and product location if needed.
Select Save & Scan Next.
The basic workflow is:
SCAN → AUTO-FILL → DOUBLE-CHECK → QUANTITY → SAVE & SCAN NEXT
Always Verify Scanned Information
When a barcode is found, you may see:
✓ Barcode Found — Please Verify Details
Product databases can contain outdated or incorrect information. Always double-check the scanned product information before saving.
Auto-Filled Information Can Be Changed
Information found from a barcode is there to save you time—it is not locked.
You can correct the product name, brand, size, category, image, supplier, or other information before saving.
If the Barcode Isn't Found
Don't worry. You can use:
Take Photo • Enter Name • Try Another Barcode
LocalBiz OPS may also use available AI-assisted tools to help identify the product.
Quantity Levels
Inventory can use three simple numbers:
On Hand — What you currently have.
LOW — The quantity where you want LocalBiz OPS to warn you that stock is getting low.
TARGET — How much you normally want after restocking.
Example:
On Hand: 3
LOW: 5
TARGET: 20
LocalBiz OPS can recommend ordering 17 to return the inventory to the target level.
Product Location
You can record where an item is physically located so employees can find it quickly.
Examples include:
Aisle → Bay → Shelf
or
Room → Cabinet → Drawer
You can also enter your own location description.
Inventory by Location
Saved products can be viewed by their physical location. Select a product to view or update information such as quantity, LOW level, TARGET level, supplier, case pricing, shipping cost, units per case, and Price Scout information.
Case Purchasing
If you purchase inventory by the case, LocalBiz OPS can track:
Case Price • Shipping Cost • Units Per Case
This allows the app to determine:
Delivered Case Cost = Case Price + Shipping Cost
and
Delivered Unit Cost = Delivered Case Cost ÷ Units Per Case
This makes supplier comparisons more accurate.
What Should I Order?
Items that reach their LOW level can help populate your ordering recommendations.
Ask the AI Business Assistant:
“What should I order this week?”
LocalBiz OP can use available inventory levels, target quantities, supplier information, recent business activity, and Price Scout information to help explain what may need to be ordered.
The business owner reviews and approves purchasing decisions.
Price Scout helps you compare the cost of inventory you already buy and look for opportunities to save your business money.
Price Scout works with your inventory so you don't have to enter the same product information again.
Check a Product
Open Inventory.
Select the product you want to check.
Open Price Scout.
LocalBiz OP uses available product information, such as the barcode, product name, size, package quantity, and supplier information, to look for comparable purchasing options.
Review the results before making a purchasing decision.
Exact Matches Matter
Price Scout attempts to distinguish between:
Exact Match — The available product information indicates the same item and package configuration.
Possible Match — The product appears similar, but some information could not be verified.
Always verify the product, quantity, package size, shipping terms, and seller before purchasing.
Compare Delivered Cost
The cheapest advertised price is not always the cheapest purchase.
When enough information is available, Price Scout can consider factors such as:
Item Price • Case Price • Shipping • Units Per Case • Package Quantity
This helps compare the estimated cost of actually getting the product to your business.
Your Supplier Price
LocalBiz OPS can use supplier pricing you enter or capture from available business records as a comparison point.
Keeping supplier information current improves Price Scout comparisons.
Price Scout Results
Results may include information such as:
Source • Price • Shipping • Estimated Delivered Cost • Match Type • Last Checked
Price Scout only reports savings when enough information is available to make a reliable comparison.
You may see messages such as:
“1 verified match found.”
or
“No verified better price found.”
Price Changes
When reliable historical pricing is available, LocalBiz OP can help identify price increases or changes that may be worth reviewing.
We Saved You
When a verified purchasing comparison results in savings, LocalBiz OP can keep track of those savings so you can see how Price Scout is helping your business.
Important
Price Scout searches supported and available sources. It does not search every seller or guarantee the lowest price available anywhere.
Prices, shipping charges, availability, package quantities, taxes, membership requirements, and seller terms can change.
Always review the seller's final information before purchasing.
You Stay in Control
LocalBiz OPS does not automatically purchase inventory for you. Price Scout provides information and recommendations. The business owner makes the final purchasing decision.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“Can I buy this cheaper?”
“Check the price on this item.”
“Which inventory items have gone up in price?”
“What should I order this week?”
“How much has Price Scout saved me?”
Employees & Team lets you give the people who work with your business access to the LocalBiz OP information and tools they need.
Add a Team Member
Open Team.
Select Add Employee or Invite Team Member.
Enter the employee's phone number.
Select the appropriate role or permissions.
Send the invitation.
The person must accept the invitation before becoming an active member of your business account.
This helps prevent someone from being added to a business without their knowledge.
Team Roles
LocalBiz OP can use roles such as:
Owner — Controls the business account and has access to owner-level features.
Manager — Can be given access to business operations and employee-related features needed to manage the business.
Employee — Receives access to the specific tools and information needed to perform their job.
Available permissions may vary depending on the features enabled for your business.
Control Employee Access
Not every employee needs access to everything.
The business owner can control access to sensitive areas such as financial information, reports, customer information, inventory, business records, or management functions where supported.
Invitation Status
Team invitations may show a status such as:
Pending • Accepted • Declined • Expired
If an invitation is still pending, verify that the correct phone number was entered.
Employee Changes
If an employee's responsibilities change, review their role and permissions.
If someone no longer works with your business, remove their access promptly.
Working Together
Team members can use LocalBiz OPS features available to their role for things such as jobs, inventory, customer information, tasks, and Shift Change.
This helps keep important business information inside the business instead of scattered across handwritten notes, personal messages, and separate apps.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“How do I add an employee?”
“Who is on my team?”
“Do I have any pending invitations?”
“What can this employee access?”
Shift Change helps employees pass important information from one shift to the next without relying on paper notes, text messages, or memory.
Create a Shift Change
Open Shift Change.
Select Create Shift Change or the available end-of-shift option.
Type or speak what the next shift needs to know.
Review the information.
Save the Shift Change.
You can include information about customers, jobs, inventory, equipment problems, deliveries, unfinished work, or anything else the next shift needs to know.
Use Your Voice
Instead of typing a long handoff, you can speak naturally.
For example:
“Freezer number two is making a strange noise. We moved the frozen food to freezer one. The repair company needs to be called in the morning.”
When AI-assisted organization is available, LocalBiz OPS can help turn the information into clearer notes and action items for review.
Starting a Shift
At the beginning of a shift, review the previous Shift Change before starting work.
Important items can remain visible until they have been handled or acknowledged, helping prevent unfinished work from disappearing between shifts.
Unresolved Items
If something still needs attention, keep it unresolved so it can carry forward instead of being forgotten.
Once the issue has been handled, update or complete the item.
Call Service
If a Shift Change reports an equipment or maintenance problem, Call Service can help you quickly contact the appropriate repair or service provider using the information available to the business.
Review the message and service provider information before sending or calling.
Keep Shift Notes Useful
Include information the next employee actually needs to do the job. Avoid entering unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“What happened on the last shift?”
“What still needs to be done?”
“Are there any equipment problems?”
“What unresolved items do we have?”
Expenses & Documents helps keep important business paperwork organized and connected to your business records.
Record an Expense
Open Expenses & Documents.
Select Add Expense.
Enter the amount, vendor, date, and category.
Add notes if needed.
Attach a receipt, invoice, or photo when available.
Review the information and select Save.
Capture a Receipt or Document
Instead of typing everything manually, you can photograph supported business documents with your phone.
Examples include:
Receipts • Supplier Invoices • Licenses • Permits • Insurance Documents • Warranties • Contracts
When AI-assisted document reading is available, LocalBiz OPS can help identify useful information such as the vendor, date, total, document type, or other available details.
Always Review Before Saving
AI and document scanning can make mistakes. Always review information extracted from a photo or document before adding it to your official business records.
You remain in control and can correct information before saving.
Supplier Invoices
Supplier invoices can be especially useful because they may contain information related to:
Expenses • Inventory • Supplier Pricing • Product Costs
When supported, LocalBiz OPS can use confirmed information from supplier invoices to help keep related business records current.
Expiration Dates
For documents such as licenses, permits, insurance policies, or warranties, record an expiration date when applicable.
LocalBiz OPS can use saved dates to help remind you about documents that may need attention.
Finding Documents
Saved documents remain associated with your business records so you can find important paperwork later instead of searching through boxes, folders, emails, or camera photos.
Reports
Confirmed expense information can contribute to your business reports and year-end records.
LocalBiz OPS is a business recordkeeping tool. It does not replace an accountant, tax professional, attorney, or other licensed professional.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“How much did I spend this month?”
“Show me my supplier invoices.”
“Do I have any documents expiring soon?”
“Find the receipt from this purchase.”
Close My Day helps you capture the day's important business records before you finish for the day.
Instead of letting receipts, invoices, sales records, and paperwork pile up, LocalBiz OPS helps you organize them while the information is still fresh.
Close Your Day
Open Nightly Records / Close My Day.
Review the day's available business activity.
Photograph or upload any remaining receipts, invoices, sales records, or other business documents.
Review any information LocalBiz OPS identifies from the documents.
Correct anything that is inaccurate.
Confirm and save your records.
Photograph Your Paperwork
Use your phone's camera to capture business records such as:
Receipts • Supplier Invoices • Daily Sales Records • Purchase Records • Other Business Paperwork
When supported, LocalBiz OPS can help read information from the image and prepare it for your review.
Always Confirm the Information
A photograph, scan, or AI-generated result should never be assumed to be correct automatically.
Check important information such as:
Date • Vendor • Amount • Document Type • Customer • Description
Make any necessary corrections before confirming the record.
From Today to Year-End
Confirmed records can contribute to your daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly business information.
This makes it easier to find business records later and prepare information for your accountant or tax professional.
Keep the Original When Necessary
Saving a digital copy in LocalBiz OPS does not automatically mean you can discard an original document. Keep original records whenever required by your accountant, insurer, lender, government agency, contract, or applicable law.
Year-End Records
LocalBiz OPS can organize confirmed business records into reports and exports that can help you review the year or provide information to your accountant or tax professional.
LocalBiz OPS provides recordkeeping and organizational tools. It does not prepare or file your taxes and does not provide tax or legal advice.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“What am I missing from today?”
“How much did the business bring in today?”
“Show me today's expenses.”
“Show me this month's business records.”
Reports turns the information you enter into LocalBiz OPS into useful business summaries so you can understand what is happening without digging through paperwork.
Choose a Time Period
View available reports for:
Today • Week • Month • Quarter • Year • Custom Date Range
This lets you look at today's activity or step back and review longer-term business performance.
What Reports Can Show
Depending on the information your business records in LocalBiz OPS, reports can include:
Money Earned • Expenses • Money Owed • Payments Received • Get Me Paid Activity • Inventory • Price Scout Savings • Customers • Jobs • Team Activity • Tasks • Unresolved Items
Review the Details
Summary numbers help you see the big picture, but you can also review the records behind the totals when available.
For example, if a report shows money still owed to your business, you can review the invoices contributing to that amount.
Export Your Reports
Available reports can be exported in formats such as PDF or CSV when supported.
You may also have options to Print or Share reports.
Year-End Business Records
Use the yearly report and available exports to organize information for your accountant or tax professional.
Your year-end information may include confirmed income, expenses, invoices, payments, receipts, and other business records saved throughout the year.
Check Your Records
Reports are based on the information stored in LocalBiz OPS. Missing, duplicated, or incorrect business records can affect report totals.
Review important reports and correct your underlying business records when necessary.
Tax Information
Where configured, LocalBiz OPS may help estimate sales-tax totals using the business rules and records you have provided.
These calculations are provided for business recordkeeping and informational purposes.
LocalBiz OPS does not prepare or file tax returns and does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.
Ask the AI Assistant
Try questions such as:
“How much did I make this month?”
“How much did I spend this month?”
“How much money is still owed to me?”
“How much has Price Scout saved me?”
“Show me my year-to-date business summary.”
The AI Business Assistant helps you use LocalBiz OPS by letting you ask questions and request actions in normal everyday language.
Instead of searching through menus, you can simply tell LocalBiz OPS what you need.
What Can You Do for Me?
Ask:
“What can you do for me?”
The AI Business Assistant can explain the features and actions currently available for your business.
Depending on your business information and enabled features, it can help with customers, jobs, invoices, money owed, inventory, Price Scout, employees, Shift Change, expenses, documents, reports, and other LocalBiz OPS tools.
Ask About Your Business
Try questions such as:
“What needs my attention today?”
“Who owes me money?”
“What jobs do I have tomorrow?”
“What inventory is running low?”
“What happened on the last shift?”
“How much did I spend this month?”
“How much has Price Scout saved me?”
Ask the Assistant to Help You Take Action
Where supported, you can also request actions such as:
“Text the refrigeration technician.”
“Tell Sarah her vacation request was approved.”
“Ask the team if someone can pick up tomorrow's shift.”
“Create an invoice for this customer.”
For actions that communicate with someone, change important business information, or affect money, LocalBiz OPS may ask you to review and confirm the action before it happens.
What Should I Order This Week?
Ask:
“What should I order this week?”
When the necessary information is available, the AI Business Assistant can consider things such as:
Inventory On Hand • LOW Levels • TARGET Levels • Recent Sales or Usage • Upcoming Jobs or Routes • Product Locations • Open Orders • Supplier Information • Supplier Lead Times • Price Scout Information
LocalBiz OPS can explain why it recommends an item and quantity.
You make the final purchasing decision.
AI Can Make Mistakes
AI-generated information can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect.
Review important information before relying on it, especially information involving customers, employees, inventory, money, purchasing, taxes, contracts, or other important business decisions.
Your Business Data
The AI Business Assistant uses the business information available to LocalBiz OPS to provide requested features and responses.
LocalBiz OPS does not sell your personal or business information. When outside service providers are necessary to provide a requested feature, information sent to them should be limited to what is needed to provide that function.
Financial, Tax & Legal Decisions
The AI Business Assistant can help organize business information, explain records, and provide available calculations or estimates.
It does not replace an accountant, tax professional, attorney, financial professional, or other licensed professional.
You Stay in Control
Think of the AI Business Assistant as another way to operate LocalBiz OPS—not as the owner of your business.
You make the final decisions.
Account & Subscription is where you manage your LocalBiz OPS account, business information, subscription, and account data options.
LocalBiz OPS Subscription
LocalBiz OPS is $19.99 per month.
There is one simple plan rather than multiple feature tiers. Your subscription provides access to the LocalBiz OPS features included with your plan, subject to any reasonable-use limits described in the app or subscription information.
Manage Your Subscription
Open:
Settings → Subscription & Billing
Select Manage Subscription to view the subscription options available through the store where you purchased LocalBiz OPS.
Cancel Your Subscription
Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are managed through the applicable app store.
In LocalBiz OPS, open:
Settings → Subscription & Billing → Manage / Cancel Subscription
Follow the instructions provided by Apple or Google to complete the cancellation.
What Happens After Cancellation?
Canceling normally stops the subscription from renewing. Your paid access generally continues through the remainder of the billing period already purchased, subject to the applicable app store's subscription terms.
Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting Your Account
These are two different actions:
Cancel Subscription — Stops future subscription renewal.
Delete My Account & Business Data — Requests deletion of your LocalBiz OPS account and associated business data, subject to information that may need to be retained for legitimate legal, security, accounting, or other required purposes.
Canceling your subscription does not automatically delete your business records.
Deleting your LocalBiz OPS account does not necessarily cancel an active Apple or Google subscription. Manage the subscription separately through the applicable app store.
Before Deleting Your Account
We strongly recommend using Download My Business Records first if you want to keep a copy of your available business information.

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by contacting:
admin@localbizop.com
Use the subject:
LocalBiz OPS Account Deletion Request
We may need to verify that you are authorized to request deletion of the account.
Never send your password by email.
What Is Deleted
Account deletion is intended to remove the LocalBiz OPS account and associated business information, including applicable customer, job, invoice, inventory, employee/team, expense, document, Shift Change, and other business records associated with the account.
Some limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate obligations.
Subscription Cancellation Is Separate
Deleting your LocalBiz OPS account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple or Google.
To stop future subscription renewal, separately manage or cancel the subscription through the applicable app store.

If something in LocalBiz OPS isn't working as expected, try these steps before contacting support.
Check Your Internet Connection
Some LocalBiz OPS features require an internet connection to securely access or update your business information.
Make sure your phone has a working Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection and try again.
Close and Reopen the App
If a screen isn't responding correctly, completely close LocalBiz OPS and reopen it.
Your saved business information should remain associated with your account.
Make Sure the App Is Updated
Check the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for an available LocalBiz OPS update.
Updates may contain improvements, bug fixes, security updates, or feature changes.
Barcode Won't Scan
Make sure the barcode is clearly visible, clean, and well lit.
Hold the camera steady and make sure the entire barcode appears inside the scanning area.
If the barcode still cannot be identified, use:
Take Photo • Enter Name • Try Another Barcode
Incorrect Product Information
Barcode and product databases can occasionally contain outdated or incorrect information.
If LocalBiz OPS finds a product but some information is wrong, correct the information before saving.
Can't Find Business Information
Make sure you are signed into the correct LocalBiz OPS account and, where applicable, viewing the correct business or location.
Also check the appropriate Customers, Jobs, Inventory, Expenses, Documents, or Reports area.
AI Assistant Gives an Incorrect Answer
AI can make mistakes. Do not rely on an AI response when you know the underlying business information is incorrect.
Check the original customer, invoice, inventory, expense, document, or other business record and correct it when necessary.
Payment or Subscription Problem
For subscription billing handled by Apple or Google, review your subscription through the applicable app store.
For a problem involving your LocalBiz OPS account itself, contact LocalBiz OPS Support.
